About Vedix

I am pretty sure you have come across vedix advertisement somewhere on social media. If you don’t know about vedix then let me tell you about that briefly. Vedix makes customized ayurvedic products for your hair.

In order to customize your hair products. You have to go through a questionnaire, A series of questions will be given to you related to your body, immunity, mental health, and your lifestyle choices. After this questionnaire, you will be provided with the result. The results are nothing but the unbalanced doshas you have. Now You may be wondering what is doshas? So in Ayurveda, it is believed that your body is a made of elements (Air, Ether, Fire, Water, and Earth) and for the sustainable living it is important for all the elements to be kept balanced. Any unbalance in the elements constituency is known as doshas. If your doshas elevate due to some of the external factors, your body has problems.

Vedix is designed for balancing the doshas and according to Vedix any of the hair problems you have is due to the unbalanced doshas. The products provided in your customized Ayurvedic regime focuses on this.

My Doshas and Hair Type

So after going through the doshas, my doshas were kapha-pitta. I have mix wavy-curly hair texture and it is usually dry and prone to frizz and during winters prone to dandruff as well. They give you the whole result explaining the doshas you have and all the ingredients in the shampoo, oil and serum and how they will balance your elevated doshas. I really love that they provided the whole list of herbs that will be present in your product and the purpose of that.

One month :1699/-

2 month + 1 month free : 3398/-

3 months + 2 months free : 5097/-

I choose the 2 month +1 month pack

It comes in a cardboard carton with a set of instruction guiding when and how to use the products. Each package comes with 3 bottles: 100 ml shampoo, 100 ml of oil, 50 ml of hair growth serum

Vedix Khoob Anti-Hairfall Oil

The oil is the blend of Dosha specific herbs blended in such a way so that it balances the Doshas. It comes in a very cute bottle packaging. It does its job and it is good oil. I received my first package in February, It was winter in Punjab, the oil was in a frozen state so I Had to preheat the oil to use it.

Vedix Khoob Anti-Hairfall Shampoo

The shampoo is sulfate free and has a medium to thick consistency for the first time I used it, I applied more than the usual amount as generally sulfate free shampoo does not lather much so I thought that was the right amount. But to my surprise, the shampoo lathers just as well as any other shampoo and the same quantity is enough as well. The fragrance of the shampoo is herbal (I don’t like it much ) but it is okay

Vedix Khoob Hair Regrowth Serum

The serum is of a watery consistency and is meant to be used after hair wash. It is non-sticky and quickly absorbed. Many of us use a typical serum to the end of our hair but this one is supposed to be used on your roots.

How did this product work for me

I have always thought of going sulfate free for my hair but whenever I used any sulfate free shampoo I would end up disappointed. Our scalp takes time while transitioning from sulfate to sulfate free shampoo and I was never ready for the transitioning phase. For this time too, It took time for my scalp to get used to the shampoo. I did not see any noticeable difference in my hair fall during the first month but it did act upon my dandruff to a little extent.

After The regular usage I felt my scalp was cleaner, my hair texture improved and it would turn out to be really good curls even without using any products. Also, my hair grew nothing magical about hair growth but it grew longer than it grows out usually.

Though this is supposed to be the only hair care regimen needed, the wavy-curly category needs much more than this. A conditioner is one thing that is missing. Though the shampoo does not rips your hair of the natural oils but the hair tends to get frizzy on the second day without leave in.

Is it worth it?

Ummm No, It is on an expensive side definitely and not that an impressive product at that price. It claims to reduce hair fall and does not fail at that. Also, it aids in the hair growth process. But even after that, I need some extra nourishment for my hair and I believe most of the wavy/curly hair would require the same.

If you are going through some serious hair-fall issues then you should definitely try this.

Finally, the product does what it says but more is expected when a lot of better options are available at this price. I would rate it 3/5

Have to admit make up is not a easy thing specially when you have to make sure your hairs are doing great. I have used a lot of personalized hair care products, like Bare Aantomy (https://bareanatomy.com/)), Function of Beauty, Vedix.
and I am pretty much satisfied with the results. I would recommend everyone to use these personalized products

Using high quality cold compressed oil along with few drops of tea tree oil will help. Mixing a few drops of tea tree oil while shampooing is also great.
If you want some products specifically for dandruff then do try Re’equil dandruff range it is affordable.
